Individual sought for questioning in use of stolen credit card at Best Buy on S.I.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying an individual wanted for questioning in connection with an alleged grand larceny in New Springville.

According to a statement from the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information, on Sunday, Feb. 19, at about 10:50 a.m., an unknown male used a stolen credit card to purchase merchandise in the Best Buy located at 2795 Richmond Ave.

Police say the credit card used was reported stolen earlier that day from the LA Fitness at 3231 Richmond Ave. in Greenridge.

The NYPD released a surveillance image of the individual sought for questioning, taken inside the Best Buy.
